How is everyone dealing with their children who have allergies? Both my kids (8 and 12) suffer terribly with hayfever this time of year. The medications they need to use are a hassle and sometimes mornings or evenings get skipped.

They are just miserable when it's bad, with running noses and sneezing. Anyone!?

They're fine when we're at the seaside or when we go abroad it seems to be England that they're allergic to :-(

martini agony auntFor me, June and July is weed and grass pollen that makes my eyes itchy and my nose pour goo. For a long time, my doc just gave me normal off-the-counter crap, but about two years ago, my new doc prescribed something called Panatol for my eyes (eye drops), and Flonase for my nose. It works GREAT!

HOWEVER, Flonase costs about $37 Cdn and Panatol costs about $48 Cdn. Flonase, sprayed twice up each nostril once a day, and Panatol, two drops in each eye up to twice a day as needed.

Alternatively, have a very well ventilated house... 8/
