writes: How is everyone dealing with their children who have allergies? Both my kids (8 and 12) suffer terribly with hayfever this time of year. The medications they need to use are a hassle and sometimes mornings or evenings get skipped.They are just miserable when it's bad, with running noses and sneezing. Anyone!?They're fine when we're at the seaside or when we go abroad it seems to be England that they're allergic to :-( Reply to this Question |

ya i have sufford from hay fever all my life it is horrible and it is hard my mum used to always make sure that i had my medication morning afternoon and night even if my hay fever wasnt bad i still had it because it worked better when used continous untill my hay fever had gone but as you will probebly no that it doesnt always work and there eyes will get itchy and they will sneeze loads the only other thing i can say put a hat on them to shade them and maybe some sunglasses they seem to help abit other wise just keep well ventelated hope this helps samx

For me, June and July is weed and grass pollen that makes my eyes itchy and my nose pour goo. For a long time, my doc just gave me normal off-the-counter crap, but about two years ago, my new doc prescribed something called Panatol for my eyes (eye drops), and Flonase for my nose. It works GREAT!
HOWEVER, Flonase costs about $37 Cdn and Panatol costs about $48 Cdn. Flonase, sprayed twice up each nostril once a day, and Panatol, two drops in each eye up to twice a day as needed.
Alternatively, have a very well ventilated house... 8/
