writes: Runaway HusbandI have been married for 12yrs. My husband took off last week after a brief argument and left me with two children and no financial assistance. He has refused to talk and said he will rather have a divorce than move house. I asked for my house keys back and he refused to hand them back because he claimed he has right since he pays the mortgage. I tried communicating but he refused to talk or see our children or me. I decided the best thing to do was to pack his belongings and move them to the garage. I discovered that the true reason of him not wanting to move house was not because of our financial possition, but rather, because in the garage he has over 3000 copies of pornography magazines, some of which were as costly as $20. Now, I am really stuck as I was hoping to sort out my marriage but now all my feelings for him have gone and I am only trying to see if we can be friends. I also want to destroy all those magazines but I really do not know where to start from, as there are so many. What do you think I was do? I am yet to comfront him about my discovery.  Two ideas come to mind, as 3000 magazines might be a bit difficult to burn.
1) If you have any paper recycling containers in the area, you could dump the magazines there (in batches, because that amount of paper is hard to lift all at once), at night if you don't want to be seen with such material.
2) Sell it on Ebay. But make sure that it's part of the agreement that whoever buys it will pick it up by himself.

reader, anonymous, writes (26 November 2006): Burn them one by one! And for each magazine u throw into the fire think of a reason why you shouldnt be with him... Well ok maybe not EVERY one- but you get the picture.
At the end hopefully you will have the strength and confidence to do what you have to do for u and ur kids.
And hey you can always resell them for like a dollar each- u could make up to 3000 bucks with that many!
