Contact was severed after repeated missed visits not just one or two or even twenty, and a refusal to play a full role in their lives.We would all like for my husband to be their full legal father and to share his name could you help us with how and a rough estimate so we could look into it further.thanks a very grateful family. reader, anonymous, writes (6 February 2007): This is great that your partner wants to do this for your children, I have had my childs name changed to my partners by way of deed poll on the internet you should search for this and check that its all legally binding this usually costs around £50-00GBP and for your partner to have legal responsibility for these children he can adopt them but you would need to get in touch with a family solicitor or lawyer to discuss this I hope this helps
