help. ive been summoned to my sons school because he's been bullying. He's 7 and is hanging around with the known liars thieves and bullys and has now been taking part in their nasty fun. My sons dad is a violent and mental bully who i endured for 5 years. I made him leave when my son was 4 and stupidly believed he wouldnt remember much of the whole experience. I can see him in my son and im sacred and not sure wat course of action to take. Obviously my son is being punished here and at school but i dont know wat else i can do to make him realise bullys never win and are hated.

Your son is only 7 years old so i wouldnt be too hard on him. But being 7 years old he should know right from wrong! You have to sit your son down and talk to him, ask him why he is doing what he is doing.

ask him how he would feel if that happened to him. If you feel that the children he is playing with at school is playing a huge part in your son becoming a bully, demand that they do their upmost not to let your son play with these children at break times.

Explain to your son that if he does not stop being hurtful towards other children that, their Mommies and Daddies will want to come and speak to him and ask him why he is doing what he is doing. Sometimes that is enough for a child, they get a little scared in thinking that it is not just the teachers and Mom telling them off but it could be the parents of the child they are bullying.

Find out who the child is he is bullying, speak to the childs parents explain how sorry you are and that you are doing your upmost to see it never happens again, explain to them you feel it would be a good idea if you and them could help make an effort in getting your children become friends, like inviting that child around for a snack after school. Encourage your child to be friends with all the children in his class not just the bullies. You know who these other bullies are, so you could invite other children who you would prefer your child to hang out with around your house after school to play with your son, that way you are encourging him to play with the right kids not the wrong kids.

At the same time, if your son has witness bullying from a parent it could have effected him a lot deeper than you ever realised. He may need more help than you can offer, there are many places you can take your child, you should ask your doctor for a place where you can take your son to a behavior class where you join in with them and do actitivites in learning to share and be nice towards other children.

i wish you all the best, i am sure it is just a phase he is going through. He just needs a little push in the right direction and i am sure you will be able to help in on the right track

.x..P.J..x. agony auntDear Mother With Bullying Child,

This is a big break down in the mother's and father's lives, to have heard that your child is bullying. This is a very unusually age for a child to bully someone.

To me you have two options:

1:You change you child's school

2:You keep him at the current school, but talk to him about it.

If you change your child's school, then they might start bullying other childeren. This is a BIG risk, but is up to you.

If you keep your child at the current school, this is also a big risk because he might start bullying other childeren as well as the current person. With this option, it is best to sit down with your child and explain in great detail why bullying is such a bad thing to do, for example, say that some people go to jail if it gets to bad when your older. Or something like that.

At the end of the day, it is ALL your desicion.

I hope this is useful and if you need any more advice do not hesitate to ask me.

Keep me posted, i would love to hear how it goes!

Love .x..P.J..x.

xxxxxxxxxx
