I no longer buy parenting magazines as my children are 7 and 9 and all the magazines I've seen are normally for people with children aged 0 - 5 years.
I thought that they were not to highly priced but would have been nice if they had been a little cheaper!
I would buy a magazine that gives behaviour advice from other parents as no one is perfect and everyone needs a little help from time to time.
I think that just having articles that involve the dads will get men to read it as hardly any magazines give tips or advice for dads which is such a shame.
Finally, I enjoy doing many things with my children such as; playing board games, doing arts and crafts, reading, watching movies, cooking, painting, singing, making up plays, themed crafted like making easter bonnets or xmas cards and so on...
Hope this helps.

hi im a mum of an active 7 year old boy. no i dont buy any magazines on parenting not because they cost too much because i wouldnt know the price. I think to attract men and women like me you need to call it ' i think im going nuts!' yes advice is good but i think own true stories and outcomes are better than a know it all telling you how to be a parent! We enjoy dog walking football colouring laughing cars and dinosaurs!
