A male reader, rcn United States +, writes (17 January 2008):

rcn agony auntMy guess is you're not the biological father to this child? Let me ask a few questions, prior to being able to give any kind of beneficial answer. (1) Does she have contact with her biological father? (2) How long have you been separated? (3) How long did you take part in the raising of this child?

Thank you.
