I'm a teen mom (17) and I have a 5 month old daughter, I left her alone with my mom and sister for only 4 hours for the first time since I've had her and now she doesn't want me to hold her or feed her at all. Is that normal?

I hope that this has already sorted itself out. Most babies get a little resentful when you leave them, especially for the first time.

My husband looked after our daughter when she was sick for a week because i couldn't take anymore time off of work. Because of the hours I was doing i only saw he a little bit (i normally do part time and she stays at a nursary so I normally see her more then anyone). She was really funny with me for a couple of weeks and wouldn't come to me if her dad was around.

She is now much better, and her had her dad have a much better bond.

younger children just have this turn naturally, a kind of phase that will fade out eventually. im sure she'll behave normally soon, if not seek advice from a nurse or gp.
